Artist Research 7 Michael Molloy

Michael Molloy has been photographing construction projects for over 6 years. In this time he has worked on a variety of sites including Airports, Hospitals, Nuclear Power Stations, and recently The London Underground and at the London Olympic site in Stratford.

Michael  Molloys work has several types of photography work, the type of photography he specialises in are; Commercial, Portraiture, Landscapes, Architecture.
Michael Molloy uses various compositions in his work, in many of his construction images he uses allot of symmetry and reflections from the puddles which are very effective.

Many of his images are also full of different shapes and also colours in his images. I like how the shapes vary from zig zags to rectangles also.

I have noticed in Michael Molloys work in his portraiture work that he takes pictures of always something to do with the clients. or what they are about or what they do or enjoy.

I like this image because of the direction of how all the cars are going in.
The clouds are also similar to the floor which is a grey and brown colour.

This image captures my attention because of the rule of thirds which is involved in the image.
The muck and soil at the bottom with the digger in the central spot with the sky above.
