Today we have been asked to go outside and take photos of something extremely similar that Gillian Wearing used to do when she was working as a photographer. In the photos are people who hold cards who either express their thoughts, ideas, or opinions and she takes their picture.

The task given today will be that we have to go up to working class people and ask them to tell us what job they do or what they have and write on the card what they do and to politely ask them if we can take a full length shot of them standing with the card.
These are the images I took from the task:
I went to the market and this kind lady helpfully decided to let us take images of her at her market stall, she told us she was a Market Trader and when I took her photo the first image was not great because you couldn't actually see what was written on the piece of paper.
I like this image because of the proportion of it, she is just centered in the middle of this picture which doesnt give too much around the edge away.
This image is nice because I like how I have included the stock intake behind the lady so it really shows what she is about and what she is selling.
SECOND IMAGE
I like these photos because of the Fashion Joel is wearing as well. As a worker of River Island its important to represent the brand
